For this project, I got to mix both types of my favorite kind of article writing: history and my friends. This short piece explores some history behind the iconic Downtown Bremerton 4th Street and a short skateboarding edit made by my friend (and someone who I am a huge fan of, on and off the board), Connor Ferguson. The article also captures some toebock history attached to 4th Street. Connor’s creation captures 4th Street for what it is today–before it is remodeled into Quincy Square–and it was my honor to contribute to it with my writing.
